The History of Glitz-Teaz Pasties and Lords and Ladies, Inc.
Glitz-Teaz Pasties is a division of Lords and Ladies, Inc. of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The owner, Anne G. Monlezun has been in the sequin and bead industry for over 20 years.
Glitz, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Mrs. Monlezun, a Dance Teacher and Homemaker intrigued by the “glitz and glamour” of the sequin and bead world.
As “Captain and Leader” of Lake Charles, Louisiana Mardi Gras Krewe de la Famille, Anne had an eye for color, design, and the need for personal service to customers. Working diligently to create a line of trims to suite the needs of not only costumers but eveningwear and bridal wear, Anne’s company grew to popularity among Fabric Stores, Costume Shops, and with Manufacturers.
Known for not only her friendly service but the patience to work “one on one” with designers and companies in order to create custom styles and colors that designers “dream” for their creations with low, affordable minimums.
In 1997, Anne sold the Glitz Company after ten strong years as a Distributor and Importer from China. The company continued for seven more years before closing under the new ownership. After Anne’s ten year “Hiatus”, she eagerly reopened the doors under “Appliqués with Glitz” along with her best friend and husband, Lee J. Monlezun, Jr. MD.
Searching for new and “needed” designs, the new division, “Glitz-Teaz Pasties was born specializing in the “glitz and glamour” of the world of Exotica.
